We are a truly family-owned and operated electrical company that has been in business here, in Saint Augustine, since 1990. Our journey began with Joseph and Mary Maure, who successfully ran an electrical company in New Jersey for 16 years. They decided to relocate to Saint Augustine, Florida in 1990 and founded ALLSTAR Electric, a new chapter in their entrepreneurial story.
Joseph and Mary Maure’s electrical company in New Jersey had gained a reputation for excellence in the south and central areas, serving places like Atlantic City, Seaside Heights, and Cherry Hill. But they were ready for a change and a new adventure. They had visited Saint Augustine for many years and had always been captivated by its charm and beauty. So, they made the bold decision to move their family and their business to this vibrant coastal city.
Their oldest son, Joseph Maure Jr., who had been working with his father since he was 16, was already a part of the business. And in 1993, their youngest son, Todd, joined the ranks part-time, eventually becoming a full-time electrician in 1994. Together, they formed a formidable team, bringing their expertise and dedication to ALLSTAR Electric.
In 2018, they welcomed Todd Sr.’s wife, Teresa Maure, to the ALLSTAR Electric team as the office manager. Her organizational skills and attention to detail have been invaluable in keeping operations running smoothly.
In 2014, tragedy struck our family and our business. We lost Mary, the heart and soul of ALLSTAR Electric, to Pancreatic Cancer. Her passing was a devastating blow that left a void in our lives and the company. Mary was a deeply loved person, and her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. We miss her dearly, but her spirit lives on in the values she instilled in us.
The loss of Mary brought our family even closer together. We rallied around each other, finding strength in our shared love and dedication to the business. With her memory as our guiding light, we persevered through the darkest times and emerged stronger than ever.
In 2018, we added Cody, a close family friend, to our team. Although not a blood relative, Cody has been a part of our lives since he was six years old. His loyalty and dedication to our family have made him an honorary member of the ALLSTAR Electric family.
In 2020, our family grew even larger when Tristan married his wife Tiffany, and her brother, Brantley, joined the company. Brantley is a respectful and kind individual who has quickly become an integral part of our team. His skills and work ethic have helped shape our business and our family.
In 2021, we had the pleasure of reconnecting with Rheo, a long-time friend who left for Washington State and returned as an electrician. His skills and diligent work have made him a valuable asset to our family and our business. We are grateful that he reached out to us, allowing us to once again have him as part of our team.
